Consumer reviews and reports on scam companies, bad products and services
Ana Jurich Virginia Borden Sports Tickets Internet, Internet

Before I went down to wire money I did some research and found a very similar report on ripoff report from Laurie Downing. I could never get any info from DPD and the story this lady gave me just didn't check out. Told me that dhe went to the DPD office in Phoenix but I could not find anything on the internet about a DPD office in Phoenix so I choose not to risk it. The email is almost verbatum of Laurie Downing's scam in May of 2011. I was looking for World Series tickets and the person emailed me the following after I responded to her ad on craigslist: 2 is $600 This are my company's tickets given to my team as employees of the month, i work for British Airways as a flight attendant. I am currently at the airport and in couple hours i will be boarding to the flight for UK. My colleagues and i cannot make it to the event due to flight schedule change. I need to sell the tickets asap. Let's use the DPD company which is similar to UPS, FedEx or DHL and has an office near the airport to overnight the tickets to you. You will have the tickets in hands tomorrow, Saturday at 11 am. DPD has a service that will secure this transaction for us. DPD will hold the funds while you verify the tickets until after the event is ended and you passed the gate. So, you will be able to withdraw your money back from DPD in 24 hours if something is wrong with the tickets. But the tickets are genuine, hard tickets, have them in hand. So, you are protected and i am protected. Here is the DPD service i am talking about, read the 8 steps/terms: I will pay the fees. Let me know what do you think
