| I found Ignacio on Craigslist, where I have found other handymen. I was looking for someone to come and strip and restore my mother-in-laws house's floors. The first call was fine, I couldn't give him a time to come look at the floors because the wife and I would have to meet him there. I called back the next week, on Tuesday to see if he could meet me there in the evening. He answered the phone and made plans to meet me at the home between 6 and 6:30. Mind you, he made the time, not I. I agreed. At about 5:15pm I get a call from my son, who is a minor, saying that Ingancio is at the house looking to get it to make measurements. I've never met this man, and said that he could not enter the home because I was not there. I asked my son to tell him to come back in an hour like originally agreed upon. He decided to push the issue to enter the home. I once again said no and told my son I had to go, tell him no again and shut the door. At this point (I found out later), he got in his vehicle, upset, and sped out of the driveway, driving recklessly and almost causing a collision. My son yelled at him to slow down. At this point I knew I did not want to do any business with this person. I called him on the phone and told him that I would not be requiring his service. I was expecting him to ask, but he did not. I expect that he knew his pushing to get into the house when I was not there, and his reckless behavior had done him in. Rather, he repeated my request not to do business and hung up on me. I then notified him in a text message that I would report his conduct as much as possible. This guy set up an appointment, arrived early without a phone call, badgered my child to get into a house he was told he could not enter until I was there, drove recklessly because of his anger at his showing up an hour early, and then decided to continue to treat me like crap. You will want to avoid this guy, if he has these kind of anger issues before the job and nothing has gone wrong, I can't image what will happen if the job gets sticky or something doesn't go like he likes it. |

| I am the individual referenced above, and I can tell you truthfully that I am not a SCAM, nor is my Home Renovation Business. This guy, Micheal has never employed my to work for him, so he is the scam for evaluating my services. I have never done any work for him, although I did try to give a FREE ESTIMATE to him. There were no incidents while I was at the address, but there were dogs running around the neighborhood freely and a lot of junk in the yard. My evaluation of the property was that the client would be unable to pay for my "Professional Services". I have given three "BIDS" in the neighborhood in four years of running a successful business, and I have not gotten any of the work, a less than desirable neighborhood to say the least. I have many happy clients, that have my return for second and third projects, that I am able to use as references for anyone interested in verification. Thank You. |
