This company tried to scam me last week. I read some scam reports about them bilking people out of $300 when they offer you a job as a work from home recruiter. They change their name. The only way they can be stopped is that everyone who encounters them warn other people before they are able to get one red cent. They prey on jobless people by stalking websites where people are looking for jobs. Then they send you the email (attached below) that tells you to set up a job interview with them by computer. Their only purpose is to collect money from you. This is the email I received:

i'm in florida.
i received the above email from adam edwards & received a text message on my cell, i didn't get a response to my text; however, i did get a second email which provided additional interview times.
recently i applied on-line for a recruiter position, so i know this is how they got my contact information.
as i google firms i'm not aware of i googled "american recruting associates" - scam and found what i was assuming that this whole thing is a scam.
it's unfortunate that these horrors exist, i hope more of these awful people are caught and prosecuted!!! |

YES, this is a scam, this company tried to charged me with option a $317 or in two payments. It was sad how many people pay with debit cards to this people, now they are using ARA staffing as their names, please pass on the news, so no more people fall into their scam. They tried to lure people as recruiters for ARA staffing, by the way, ARA does not have a company in Arizona or Boca Raton, Fl. Please, send emails warning people of this scam. tks.

I've been receiving several emails from this company, however I never replied to the emails because something just didn't sound right. I also applied for a recruiting position and that is how they received my email address. It is really sad that others are making money from those seeking employment. I'm glad to have a forum to post on to warn others. They do however state they may get paid for links you click. So, basically it is a pay-per-click site that increases its database by willing "job seekers" who supply name, address, telephone number and email address.

| If you have already given your information especially any bank or financial info, the best course of action would be to contact your bank immediately and make them aware of the possibility that someone or some company may try to access your account and withdraw funds. Let your bank know that it is a scam and under NO circumstances are they to release your funds to anyone. Another precaution might be to cancel your account and open a new one with new cards, checks, etc. A pain in the hind quarters I know but well worth the irritation in the long run. I have become pretty darn good at spotting these types of scams! Their manner of speaking/writing is the first "tell" that they are scammers. Their grammar sucks and they repeat themselves. |

I just received this e-mail this morning. I always research companies that contact me for "job opportunities" that I did not initiate. In this job market employers have no need to contact you to fill a position that you didn't apply for. These guys are taking advantage of the fact take many people are desperate and are in no position to turn down a job. If you go to their website (www.arastaffing.com) you can see there is nothing for employers. There is also nothing for job seekers. Any legitimate staffing agency would have both of these. As you can see below, they send the same email to everyone. It's a numbers game. If they send it to enough people someone will believe it and get sucked in. I hope this helps all you job seekers

I have found a job, but decided to research this job, because the job I found was only part time, I too have received a message/e-mail earlier today and this is what my e-mail read. I'm glad people are posting these tings otherwise this could turn out to be real disaster for some.
