American Vision Windows Will not honor their guarantee. Will not replace defective product. Simi Valley, California

We purchased 12 Queen Anne Anlin replacement windows from Jack at American Vision Windows. Six of the windows were manufactured and installed wrong. Jack told us we have a life time guarantee, that their installers are professionals, and that the windows are top of the line. When the windows were installed we, the home owners, could not be in the house when they were doing the installation. They moved all of our furniture. They took out all of the windows before installing any of the new windows. They caused damage to the plaster and window frames. And, six of the windows open the wrong way. Maurice Brockenborough came to our home to see the windows. He stated, "If you walk around the outside of the house you can see that the windows do open the right way." We told him that we did not walk around the outside of the house when we decided how the windows would open, that we confirmed how the windows would open when Jim came out to take measurements, and that if what he was saying was true that the other six windows would then open the wrong way. Maurice said he would call us back. He never did. I complained to Jack. Jack said that he would come out on 07/01/11. He never did. They refuse to correct the problem and they refuse to refund us for the six defective windows. We paid close to $10,000 cash for these windows. It is six of the largest windows that do not open properly. The windows are only a few months old. They will not even honor their life time guarantee.
