Entered into a service agreement on July 7, 2010 for the purpose of negotiating a loan modification with GMAC mortgage. The cost of services $2,050.00. American Residential Law Group did not honor nor provide services promised. We have made numerous telephone calls and are placed on hold for 188 minutes or we are caller eleven each time we call. We have sent email messages but have not received any calls or messages from American Residential. On January 12, I received a letter from American Residential dated January 3, 2010 stating they are no longer permitted to service our agreed contract. American Residential referred me to their so called affiliate, the law office of William O'Toole, Esquire. I have attempted to contact this affiliate at the provided telephone number (561) 962-4224 and we have left messages but no one has returned our calls. |

They may eventually call you back, only to ask for an addition $800 or more (payable via debit or credit card, of course) for additional services. For while you already paid them $2, 050 (in my case $1, 650) for the modification services, that would not cover any additional services that they are "happy to provide." Report them to everyone you can. Crooks, liars and thieves, all of them! |

Okay folks, heres the scoop.
And yes, I am on a vendetta.
William T. O'Toole, effective 07/28/11, has been suspended from the practice.
However, if you call Summit, someone will answer. Of course, if you ask for anyone, your call will not be returned.
The chief players at Summit Legal are Randy Baker, Solomon Macari, and Aren Anderton. Non of them are lawyers.
Each of these people was previously associated with Baker, Kennedy, and Associates. The Florida AG initiated an action against Baker, Kennedy on April 13.
What are your next steps?
Put in complainsts at both the Florida Bar and Florida Attorney General Websites.
Contact your lender directly. If they are unresponsive, putin a Better Business Bureau complaint.
Don't just vent. ACT111 |
