Amazon seems to be just books and kindle. ALL THE OTHER PURCHASES you make in there, are third parties. So what? They only can guarantee amazon sales, and what you bought - electronics, appliances, health and garden it's all not-amazon. Each seller has its own rules, and EVEN IF THEY BREAK THEM, Amazon can do nothing about it. DEF Home Products, AKA Best Value Home Products is a Third Party seller at Amazon, who IGNORED my cancelation, alleging they already shipped. When I checked the FedEx tracking number, it turned out it wasn't ordered for pickup until 1:35 hs AFTER my cancelation. Probably not picked up until 4 hrs AFTER cancelation. They ignored my cancelation request and replied 28 hrs later, saying it was too late. Basically they've got a cancelation overnight, and still didn't process it, so it seems no matter when you order the cancelation, they won't cancel it. If they do, you'll pay for the shipping back, which is my problem. Amazon ALLOWS that encouraging you to trust them, and marketing your purchases as "AMAZON", but they fail to protect you alleging it wasn't them. Customer reps couldn't do nothing and ended up explaining WE SHOULD CHECK EVERY ITEM in the search results to be sold by Amazon, and not others. Of course, you can't search only Amazon's. There's no way you can filter the search results to avoid abusive sellers and help and instructions DON'T WARN YOU you are not browsing Amazon products, or the help you are looking at DOESN'T apply to what you are buying. Amazon reps can't contact the seller, they won't. They can't force them to adhere to rules. Nobody can't do a thing, and Amazon guarantee A-Z DOESN'T APPLY, at least you like credit for a book, or something Amazon actually sells themselves. Amazon logo is everywhere, it's a scam. I have to pay around $45 to ship back an item I canceled BEFORE being shipped, but such cancelation was ignored, despite Amazon and third party seller's policies. |
