Amanda Evans, hair extension specialist in Sarasota Florida. I prepaid (So she should order and pay for hair) for Great Lengths hair extensions. She explained great urgency to give her the deposit money as she told me she was ordering hair for another client and if did not order mine with it she would have to charge me shipping. I paid money into her account as requested. I then telephoned, emailed and texted her over the next four weeks without response as she never contacted me again. After one month she texted me that she would chase order. Its been three months and I have never heard from her again. I sent a certified letter asking for my money to be returned. The letter was " returned to sender". I have heard nothing and so do not have my money or hair extensions. This is all the more distressing as I lost much of my hair due to illness. Amanda preys on people who have a need for her services only to take their money and run. It seems her website states that she has being doing extensions for 8 years, however this is untrue as she was only licensed in 2009. Her cosmetology licence is DELINQUENT ACTIVE which means she has not done her continuing education. I complained to the Department of Business and Professional regulation but they are not interested. I contacted Hair u wear who make GREAT LENGTHS to explain what she had done. They never replied to my phone calls or emails. ALL IN ALL a total RIP OFF . AMANDA EVANS a is clearly a WELL ORGANIZED CON ARTIST.
