Always Vigilant Security
Always Vigilant Security Urban Dynamics scam, SCAMS, LIARS, DONT APPLY OF SPEND MONEY Manhattan, New York
27th of Dec, 2010 by User271923
I was looking for a security job and applied to Always Vigilant Security. I saw their postings on craiglist that reads, "looking for security workers, hiring now." I called 3477480027 and spoke to Mr. Santos. He said they are providing security jobs as front desk positions for corporate buildings.

It was a Monday when I asked how soon are you hiring and he said it will take at least 3 days of training and they we will be able to get you working as far as friday. I made sure asked to confirm that after my trainings they are going to hire me and he guaranteed me that I will have a job by Friday depending on how serious I was. He then said it will be about $90 to start, which was the same thing that the website said.

I came for the interview the following morning thinking that they THEY were the ones who was hiring me after THEY give me the classes. Spoke with Mr. Santos and he said for my security job I will need a 8 hour, 16 hour, fire gaurd, and a metal detection certificate to be hired. He then said the total would then be $783 dollars in all. I was shocked because on the phone he said $90. Anyway after asking him about guarantying me that I was getting the job, I paid the $783 from my visa card desperate just to find a job.

3 months passed and all I got from them was 4 certificates, 2 of which I never even needed to get security jobs. (fire gaurd and metal detection) They sent me to security outlets that either wasnt hiring or who had no idea who Always Vigilant was. Also certificates CANT get you security jobs, but having a security license can. A license takes up to 4 weeks to come in the mail before you can actually have a security job. So it was NO way that I could have been hired a day after the classes.

Always Vigilant has NO security job links, they just know places that provides security jobs that I could have found on my own. They also over charged me for my certificates. I could have paid $100 to get my 8 hour and 16 hour in the Bronx. But I spent $783 for no reason dealing with Always Vigilant. They are quick to take your money, but when you have complaints, they are quick to pass you to somebody else or quick to tell you come back tomorrow.

Bottom line is, they cant hire you, they lied about guaranteed jobs as soon as you get your 3 day training, they over charge for the classes, The certificates I have dont even have Always Vigilant's mailing addresses on them which make them look like fake certificates. AND I still dont have a security job. Dont give your money to Always Vigilant.

I'm also a victim of Urban Dynamics. In 2005 I went job hunting and came across these rip offs, I paid them $300.00 dollars for my 8 hour and 16. After that they tried to give a job paying $6.50 for ups at six o' clock in the morning. I was outraged and without a job :( P.S. and broke.
