All Star Motivation All Star Promotions Pyramid Scheme! Rancho Cucamonga, California |

This place is a pyramid scheme and a complete rip off! Let me start out by saying I am a recent graduate and have had a really hard time getting a good job. I saw this add on Craigslist for All Star Motivation and saw they were looking for a Marketing Manager and no experience needed. I have a small amount of marketing experience so I decided to apply. I was called by a girl named Andy who worked for them and she set me up with an interview immediately for the next day at 11 am. Finally I thought I was getting a shot at something! I got dressed and put on some of my best business clothes and even curled my hair making sure that I would make the best impression. I got into the office and the lady at the desk handed me a application to fill out. This application looked like a high school student made it on Microsoft Word. Then she had me fill it out and wait in there waiting room. While I was filling the app out they had a video playing about there company and to my surprise everyone was saying f-this and f-that. Also the one owner "Billy" was flashing around his diamond watch and his diamond pinky rings and driving around in a Maserati selling purfumes to people in there cars. And let me say this everyone selling these were complete illiterate wannabe gangsters. Finally another girl and myself were escorted to a room in the back of an office for the interview. The guys name was Chris and he was the owner of the building in Rancho. He said we cant call him Chris though but to call him "Boss". A little unprofessional that I couldn't even call him by a last name basis let alone a first name basis but to call him boss...ok?( On another note he had a Nevada license plate hanging in his office and instead of saying Jaguar it said Swaguar..) He told me and the girl he didn't want our resumes and that he frankly didn't give a shit. He just wanted highly motivated people who could his paper work for him. Im thinking to myself I can do all the paper work you want just give me an hourly salary. He later tells me to come back that friday for a second interview. I thought to myself cool this could be great! This guy seems weird but whatever there is always ups and downs to a job. I came in for my second interview which was at 10am and I walked it at 9:45 am and the Andy at the front desk told me I was too early and needed to come back in 10 minutes. I have never been told by a potential employer to leave and come back because 15 minutes before an interview was too soon. When I finally came back I was told to sit in this room and watch the video and the boss would come out. I walked back to find 6 other individuals, all around my age (21) watching Anchor Man. I love that movie don't get me wrong but it's a little inappropriate for a job interview. He then starts talking about himself and his brother Billy and how they are so successful and drive Jaguars and Maserati's and how would we all like to start out making 50k a year. Of course everyone's is excited, who wouldn't want to make that much money a year. Well he said if we wanted it we would have to be back at 9 am the next day for our manager training which would consist of us trying to sell 100 bottles of perfume in 2 weeks. Then we would have to sell an additional 235 bottles before they would even train on the paper work. Needless to say they were selling the whole b.s. scheme of "oh, you could make up to 4,000$ in a week".... After the "interview" he wanted us all to jump out of our chairs and say were excited and do a pelvic thrust. He also said I will give you 30 Minutes to call and let me know if this is for you, if not have a nice life making no money. Needless to say I didnt call back. Get rich quick schemes, dont work out, at least for all the sorry suckers who fall for it.
