All Coast Auto Transport Mis Represent services, scam, scam Boca Raton, Florida |

This is a very dishonest company, starting from the first conversation I had with a sales rep named Harrison. They sent American Express what was supposedly my bill for a grand total of $600. The original bill they sent me was for $550. Both quotes had $200 going to All Coast Auto Transport. However I would have been a bit surprised if the carrier would have arrived and I only had $550 cash to give them. On September 19th I received a call from Harrison representing All Coast Auto Transport. Prior to this I had put in a request with a search engine that would have transportation companies contact me. This was the first time I had shipped a car so I wasn't sure how to find the right company, or how it even worked. I received calls from many other companies, many different quotes. Harrison called and stated he was from All Coast Auto Transport and in a hurried voice that he was putting runs together and wanted to see if I had arranged transportation yet. I stated that I was talking with another guy and that I would most likely call him back (the other guy). Harrison quoted me a price of $550 for the transportation of my Jeep from Richmond VA to Little Torch Key FL. This quote wasn't the most expensive, nor the least expensive. I asked him how they could quote such a low price, as none of the other companies were quoting me to door to door service. He stated "We have our own trucks and drivers so it easier for us". Sounded true, but how was I to know. When I asked how long it would take for my Jeep to arrive he told me 3-4 days. I asked for a pick up on September 23rd. He told me that there would be no problem with a pick up on that date, it may be the 24th but that would probably be the latest. I didn't have time to research in depth who they were or if he was telling the truth. I took his word. I told him I would call him back as I wanted to tell the other guy I found other transportation. That i just wanted to be upfront with the other guy as he was expecting me and I didn't want to seem like a jerk and not call him back. At this point Harrison told me not to worry about that, that the other guy would just have negative things to say. I was able to get off the phone, call the other rep from another company and inform him I found another company that has their own trucks and drivers and can transport my Jeep for a few hundred bucks less. I called Harrison back and told him sure I will go with you (All coast Auto Transport). With in a few minutes he said he had sent me documents to my email for me to review and sign. I told him I was not able to look at the moment, he told me that's ok the documents need to be ok'd and that their is a link in the file he sent me to do that. I never clicked ok on any link, nor did I see a link. However I did see that they had my signature on file?? I did review them that afternoon, called him back and stated to him that the Jeep wasn't stock and that it was lifted, would that change the quote? He again told me in a hurried voice that wouldn't be a problem, just tip the driver $20 bucks or so. I even sent him a photo to make sure. That was the last phone conversation I had with All Coast Auto Transport. That evening I started doing more and more research only to find out that the company had a lot of negative reviews. A not so good score with the BBB and I started to get a bit worried. So I tried not to let that get to me. As I reviewed my bill a couple of days later I noticed that their was a fee to All Coast Auto Transport and then a carrier balance. That is when I realized that Harrison wasn't telling me the truth. Why would their be a fee if they had their own trucks. I still didn't want to worry about it too much and give them a chance. However it kept bugging me so I started to call around to local transportation companies here in the keys. I did find a nice woman that was willing to help me and confirmed my doubts with a screen shoot of a central dispatch with all of my info. All coast Auto Transport doesn't have their own trucks or drivers. They take a large fee and low ball the trucking companies. At this point I was a bit upset as I do not like to be taken advantage of. I sent an email to Brittany and Harrison September 23rd the day I asked for the Jeep to be picked up. I understand it may take a day or two longer however I wanted a response to the question that was nagging me. I did not get a response from that e-mail. Sent at 11:10am. I even called to speak with Harrison, he was not able to come to the phone when I called. At 4:30pm that same day I sent an email to Helen, Brittany and Harrison. I found Helen's email on the BBB site as the registered agent for the company. I clearly stated that I would like to cancel this order and I would also like a refund. Granted this is a day before they stated the first available pick up was for the vehicle..... I have email corspondence. I also have 2 voice mail messages saved on my phone where Helen herself called on October 25th stating they had found a driver and expressing concern why I found other transportation and hadn't canceled the order. The e-mail is there, canceled before the first available pick up in their words. If that is the case, Harrison again misrepresented their services. Its pretty plain to see they do not have their act together and are taking advantage of people. Just an FYI their fee is one of the highest in the business, perhaps for this reason. It really seems they are only out to get as many people they can. No services were rendered here, I was completely mislead by one of their reps. Their registered agent apparently dose not read her e-mail and then leaves me an interesting somewhat aggressive voice mail. This is all very wrong.......its not about the money, its the principle. If I were wrong I would be the first to admit it and not pursue this. |

You are 100% correct. They did it to me. I have been waiting for 3 and 1/2 weeks. Everytime I call, Helen Stabile gets very aggressive on the phone, she yells at me and then hangs up. I wish they can be stopped. This is a big scam, they take your money and never deliver the service. |
