Alex Torrente is selling same horse to several buyers and not returning deposit money. Registered TB mare, |

Alex Torrente said she is eighteen, and had legal right to sell "Classical Edge" a registered 6 yr old TB chestnut color mare. I gave her a $50 deposit check which she cashed. I have been trying to get in touch with her since March 8, 2011, to make arrangements to pick up the mare. To date: no contact, no mare, and no money back. She did mention to me that she had sold the horse to some other people, but the deals had not worked out. Guess that should have been a red flag. Beware! she is very sweet and probably thinks that being young and pretty that she can get away with fraud. |

This horse has been sold to one owner. I feel sorry for Nancy Boyer that she was not able to obtain this amazing mare. Unfortunately Nancy could not come up with the money to purchase her, and I found Classy another buyer.
I picked Nancy up to look at my sale horse, showed her the horse, and drove her all the way back to her house (I spent over $50 in gas just driving her and over 5 hours of my time). I make it back to her town and she asks me if I can bring her to HEB, I figured it'd be quit and I did. I then wait for her to do her grocery shopping (40 mins), and take her back to her house afterwards. I know you guys are thinking I am crazy, and honestly I am and was way too nice and will never be so accommodating to potential buyers again.
Deposits are rarely refundable if the agreement is not upheld(especially when the deposit is barely 1/10 of the purchase price). We had a verbal agreement, and she couldn't uphold it. I am very sorry for her. Someone came a week later, paid for the horse in full, and took her home.
The people I sold Classy to love her, and I'm so fortunate that I found Classy the perfect home.
I'm not sure where she got the information that Classy had been sold multiple times, that I have taken other deposits, and that I did not have legal right to sell Classy? She doesn't have any facts to back up her accusations. This mare has been sold for months now, and for those of you that are concerned I have all of the paper work to back up my story (Nancy doesn't). I am not sure why Nancy feels like she is owed more than what she's earned. I felt bad for her financial situation and out of the good of my heart had emailed her multiple times trying to send her a check but no reply so I moved on since this is not a big deal. It is $50 that she is writing all of these blogs about. Talking to her on the phone gets brutal and irrational, if she needs the money so badly I am not quite sure why she doesn't shoot me an email with an address?
I have no motive to what she's accusing me of, and I am so confused why she has blown something so out of proportion when she could have had her $50 (that she is NOT entitled to) months ago. It's almost like she needs something to blog about.
Nancy does not have facts, or proof. She is currently in a few different law suits, so whom ever has the opportunity to come into any business transactions with Nancy Boyer in the future be aware that she is not very familiar with professional business transactions.
Nancy, I am not quite sure why it's so difficult or why you're incapable of emailing your address to me like I have asked for multiple times so you can get an extra $50 (I know the economy has really a hit you)?? But Thanks for calling me pretty :) |

Hey There,
So I used to exercise "Classy" and I was googling her trying to find out where she was! I have came across two of these scam websites and man this sounds crazy!! Alextorrente1, I can not believe that you drove her around AND are offering to give her her deposit back. You must have a big heart. My wife and I read these and laughed when we came to the conclusion that this woman tried to hold a horse for $50 for more than a day. She must have really wanted this mare to go out of her way to try and trash you on the internet.
I found your facebook, could I add you? I would love to see how she's doing and maybe visit her! I was a poor jockey at the time, but tried to make installments multiple times to buy her when she was up for sale.
Also, these accusations are pretty ridiculous, then again she is obviously not a horse person. |

Yes these accusations are pretty crazy. My lawyers are now getting involved since she won't stop this non sense. She won't send me an address, so how am I supposed to send back her deposit? On top of that I don't owe her her deposit back.
She's got a cease and desist letter coming her way! It's very unfortunate that there are people like this in the world. Especially when I was so sweet to her. I am 18 years old, played fair, used contracts, and sold my horse by the book. I was very accommodating and went way more out of my way then I should have. I had all legal right to sell Classy, and luckily I didn't end up selling her to Nancy now seeing this behavior. This woman obviously has a lot of spare time and feels like she is owed more than she has earned.
Definitely add me! I would love to tell you more about Classy. I keep in touch with her owners now and visit her all of the time! I'd love to hear more about her track life too.
This woman, Nancy, wanted to start breeding and racing TBs, so keep her name in your head just in case you cross her! |

I'm sorry sweetie, I meant to copy/paste my response from your email but I did yours! I did get your email though and I can't wait to hear all about Classy. Good luck with this woman and I hope she goes away soon! |
