I was shopping at a local Radio Shack at the Baldwin Shopping Plaza in Baldwin NY. I got into my car drove to the end of the lot and got out of my car as I needed locate my wife who walked to the bagel place next door as I needed to get the credit card. about 2 min later after I got back only to find some goon who said he represented Al's Towing blocked my car and demanded $135 or else he was going to hook up and tow my car away. I immediately called the police and the police showed up but they told me they cannot get involved. The Police would not stop him and took the goon to the side talked with him and the Police informed him the law states that he could not charge me more than $50. So the goon called his boss named Al and the police had to inform him what the law states. I told the gon and the police to accompany me to Radio Shack and they can see I was just shopping there ready to make a purchase. The refused to do so. I ended up paying the $50. The goon threatened me and was very abusive and rude. I called the phone # on the reciept and spoke with Al and he was extremly rude and evasive with me. I mentioned that I would take him to court and he blurted out to me in an angry voice accusing me of extorting money from him! Can you imagine! So he said to me if I wanted my $50 to come down and he can stick his D*** in my mouth. I was mortified and hung up. I am persuing this to the fullest extent.
