My house had gone into foreclosure because I was out on disability from back problems and was hoping to get back to work to fix the problem. By the time I got out of the hospital my house was in foreclosure and my wife received some info or flyer that stated this guy could help us. Well he told me and my wife we would need to get some info to him and he would save our house. Mind you we only owed about 45-50k on my house and it was work 120k. Anthony was able to save my house but he took all the equity out of my house and wanted us to buy it back from him and full cost. We had no where else to go and we wanted out home. Since I was not able to return to work, Anthony offered to let us rent the house from him until I got back on my feet. I did not know he refinanced the house and had it put in his sister name. When ever I would call him to get the true pay off amount so that could try to qualify for a loan, he would never returned my call and evaded me. After a could of years of this and be frustrated I was just ready to just move on. But he promised if we would give him 8k as a downpayment he would sell us back our home. All of a sudden we get a water bill from JEA for 5k. I didn't have a pool nor did I find a water leak. I called him and explained the situation that it was probably a slab leak and if he would need to get a plumber to fix it and JEA would adjust the bill and turn my utilities back on. For 3 weeks after we had given him the money, the slab leak and him not returning any of our calls, I left him a message that this was not working. I asked for our money and he could just keep the house since he was not trying to sell it back to us. He and I verbally agreed to this over the phone and I asked for him to meet me at our former home to get our money and to give him the keys. I have not heard from to this day. |

On 5/2/2001 your home was purchased at the court house steps as stated above.
On 7/26/2001 the bank was notified of a payoff of the home. Did the monies come from you?
The agreement was to give you an opportunity to purchase the home back within (1) year...not 2, 5, etc
Rental payments were late every month without fail...If you don't believe they were late, please provide copies of the check, money order, etc that proves that they were on time.
Please provide proof that you ever had a pre-approval letter from any lender that would loan you money based on your credit.
Hell, if we were the landlord you would have been evicted after the first 6 months...period. However, since you were a pastor and man of God we decided to help you out.
If we had not paid off the house, you would have been put out of the house by the sheriff.
Please, if you are going to present the facts...Please make sure you state all sides!
If this posting isn't taking down, you will be issued a cease and desist letter. Please govern yourself accordingly. |
