airfare.com WTC I will loose over $2500.00 dollars because i used this company, and everytime i call they hang up on me!! BETHESDA , Maryland

Don't be a fool like me!
Check up on any company before you use them online even if it seems like a popular, safe site like www.airfare.com! I found this company because it came up as one of the first three sites i searched for on google and it sounded like i might get a good deal with them, and i was right as far dollar amount was concerned. So i had to change my plans and cancel my tickets because of a emergency. so i called them to as for a cancellation and any kind of refund but i was told that i need to pay $1000.00 USD in order to cancel my trip plans and get any refund... well i was shocked and could not really understand the guy on the phone so i called the airline company who i was to travel with and told them about this issue and they made me aware that it sounds like a scam. Going back to my conversation with www.airfare.com i seem to remember feeling a little weary about paying the $1000.00 USD and the "agent"on the phone Kept telling me "then you want to loose everything?" over and over with his strong middle eastern accent almost trying to sell me something. My problem is now when i call and give them my "RESERVATION NUMBER" they hang up on me every time, I have always been nice on the phone to them! It's like they have my number stored in the system now! I don't get it at all. One time i called them and i said "i think your agent hung up on me" and the guy says back "like this" and hangs up the phone! I was just depressed after that. I can't find any other phone numbers to call for this "company" so if someone has any to share please do so. Just another day it seems in-witch I get taken advantage of when try to do the right thing.
It sucks being middle-class these days. It feels like we are just like lambs for the wolfs to feed off of!! Foolishly yours
