I needed a short term loan to cover some expences and found Advance Me Today on line. It seemed easy and fairly resonalble. I had to borrow $500 to which the interest would be $150. They started taking out $150 every two weeks, which was fine. This week I expected them to take out the final $50. To my surprise, they were going to take out $200. By this time I had already paid $600. I got on the phone and asked what was going on. The first young man gave me some story that I couldn't understand. I asked how many more deductions they were planning on take out. He said 10 more at $200 a piece. Holy c@#p.....why would I pay over $2000 for a $500 loan. Do they think we are bunch idiots?? I then asked him how much to pay this loan off. Again to my surprise, it was $625. He gave to a supervisor who told me I should have read the agreement. First of all they did not send me an agreement. I agreed to pay $150 for interest, not $2100. Second, I tried to log into my account online.....I was locked out....so I eally could check the status of my loan repayment. This so called loan company is a nightmare and a disgrace. They find and take advantage of people who are in need of help. How do they sleep at night? STAY AWAY OF THIS LOSER SITE......you don't need the headache and you could buy a lot of groceries with the money they will steal from you!! |

I'm going through the same thing. I took $350 and I realized that I paid over $600 that didn't even go towards my principle. Advance me today was taking $150 out of my account every other week. I finally put a stop to it when I saw all these claims that ADVANCE ME TODAY is a fraudulent Company, and by doing my own re-search.
To anyone that is ever interested in online loans DON'T DO IT! a lot of them are scam artist looking to steal your hard earning money. If you need a loan please go to your local loan shop in your City or Town. A lot of these " Loan Company's" online are out of the country. So It would be very hard to take legal action. The only action you can take is letting them know, that YOU KNOW they are a scam company, and remove them from your bank account. If only I new then what I what I know now, I would have never taken the loan.
Good Luck Everyone with this issue. |
