Administration Plus USA Centennial Failing to honor contract. Dublin, Ohio |
9th of Nov, 2010 by User361033 |
I purchased the best extended auto warrant offered to me by the car dealership where I purchased my vehicle. This is a sub company of Administration Plus USA which operates under the name of "Centennial". I started having problems with the transmission not shifting properly the vehicle. As the contract states I took the vehicle to a qualified service shop, the dealership. The dealer's diagnostic result is that is bad and needs to be replaced. When contacting the company the dealer spoke with the adjuster "Glen" who informed the dealer that the company would not pay for the repair. I spoke with Glen personally in detail about the issue and was informed to take the car to an "Aamco Transmission Shop". I had the car towed from the dealer to the recommended Aamco shop to avoid any further damage to the transmission. Aamaco also spoke with Glen who informed that they may or may not cover the cost of the repair and and if they did the company would only pay for up to what they could find a used transmission for the vehicle and nothing more. It should be noted that Aamco does not install used transmissions. I find this unacceptable and very much the runaround. In a few months when I got o purchase my next vehicle I will make sure that the warranty company that I use will be in no way connected to your company. I understand you do not want to have to put money out, but when you choose to be in this type of business you must realize that older vehicles often have mechanical problems and if you agree to cover the cost of repairs with a contract you should honor your agreement. I will also be informing the auto dealership the details regarding my encounter with this company and expressing my dissatisfaction about their recommendation. You should be ashamed of how you treat people and do business.
