Adam Wes tutoring advetises its services all over craigslist and they are running a scam. The way the scam works is this: you call up the tutoring service and pay a deposit. They then call around to find a tutor in your area. That is why it says it takes up to 2 days to receive tutoring. Because they need that time to find one. If they dont find one, good luck on getting a refund. In my case I could never get Wendy on the phone and never got my deposit back until i filed a dispute with my bank. And if you ask for Adam Wes to tutor you, they tell you he charges $300/hr for tutoring. What kind of real tutor charges that. So bottom line is you are better off finding a local tutor than to pay this company a deposit and basically kiss that money good bye. Adam Wes is a scam scam so student beware!!!!

Hello, this is Adam Wes! Thank you for looking into me and my business.

I would like to explain the completely false statements above. Basically, this is a competitor from Craigslist. Sometime other tutors on Craigslist get nasty with their competition, it has happened before and will likely happen more and more, with our company's growth. How do I know this? One reason is, the claim is completely false. We do not accept any money upfront. In fact, we only invoice students for hours that they have already completed with the company, only after tutoring has occurred. Also, my rates are pretty high for my personal tutoring, but not $300 per hour :).

In Summary
- We don't take deposits
- I don't charge $300 per hour
- We have many tutors working with us who have a proven track record; it takes time to see who is available as many of their schedules get booked with students during the school year, but always less than 48 hours.
