ACS Collection Agency American Law Associates Collection scam up to $700! New York, New York |
17th of Jul, 2011 by User176362 |
In Novemeber, I received threatening phone calls from foreign sounding collectors. They accused me of fraud- specifically, cash advance fraud. I was so frightened that I paid them over $700. Well, it began to happen again a month ago in June. The phone calls returned- this time at my work. They've been calling every day hounding the secretary and leaving horrible messages. The last message reveiled the caller as a representative of ACS. I quickly took this knowledge and did an internet search. I was shocked to see, here at the scam Report, a long list of similar complaints. I would love to not just put a stop to the harassment, but also find some justice for those, like me, that have had their money stolen by ACS. |

i was called at my job today from this fruad company called ACS. i explained that they need to call me on my personal phone not my job. the man became very angry so i hung up on him. he then called my job and told the HR dept. that he was a customer for the company i work for and that i was rude and hung uo in his face. the HR dept called my boss (who had already heard what i told him) and he told my boss he would call 1000 times per day. he also told my boss he will get me fired. i called them back on my break and he said that i owed a payday loan company $295.00. i then called the loan company he named off and sure enough they said i don't owe them anything. since i have imformed ACS that i contacted the loan company that made them mad and he yelled at me that he didn't care what paperwork i had and that he would have me arrested in 2 hours. now they wont answer my calls. |

Acouple of years ago I had 50.00 or dollars taken from my bank account daily.Naturally this reeked havoc with my account being a single mom, full time student and full time employment with little pay.My credit union was great! they refunded all of the services fee, the manager wrote a letter for me stating that I have always handled my finances well. Thanks SEFCU! They tried to trace werethe money was going and who
was doing the automatic withdrawal, but it lead to 3 different dummy companies. I filed complaint with bank, local police, attorney general's office. Here it is over two years later and I am receiving horrid phone calls at work. They call themselves ACS Afadavit Confirmation Services the area code is a Florida exchange. They threaten me with check fraud and many other charges {I can't tell you the when the last time I wrote a check was!} They have been calling a couple of time a day at my place of employment. Two men both named John Wright with middle eastern accents. I also have student loans that are managed
by acompany named ACS, whom I never had a problem with, except that my loan amounts seemed to
double, I am currently tring to fiqure that out.{my student loan has bee bought and sold so many times
it is hard to keep track!} I am now filing with better business bureau, att'n. gen. and police I also put a call into my lawyer! I am terribly worried that these thugs have personal data about me. |
