Poor working conditions, underpaid employees. Production manager is controlling, rude and verbally harassed employees over and over. Being the "owners" son, he has kept his job after several attempts for terminations. The union employees has filed grievances that when now where?? Why buy from a company who has no set business practices, improper inventory system or lack of one, no QA in the manufacturing plant. There are few procedures followed. Several tenured employees left the company on there own after the new Conway management took over 56 years ago. Rarely are you treating like an individual, never properly explained your commission structure and always had to make excuses to the customer when orders were late. 98% of the people working there excluding some union working hate the negative, unorganized atmosphere. This company has 5-6 locations in the Midwest with KC being the largest. But would you buy from someone with poor management skills who almost all dislike and hard to get along the production manager who never gets reprimanded because he is the owners son and runs crying to mom and dad at 50 years old! Grow up and treat the hard working employees like a person- or does he know how. And needed to say the brother running the St. Louis plant has no consideration for KC needs.But he sure has his "favorites" and the sunglow employees sure know how to smooze management for there jobs and have been told they would never loose them. Well Sunglow has done so poor they are closing the divisionn but their jobs are retained. I would not recommend doing business with ACI Plastics, pricing is higher when I compared to the competition as a business owner looking for engineering plastics. Overall, unprofessional, under managed, overpriced, unhappy and negative place to do business with or work for or with. Seen the light!
