Accutek Packaging
Accutek Packaging Co. Inc. Biner Ellison Sub standard Swap meet and Flea market components Vista, California
14th of Sep, 2011 by User450260
Well I can tell you first hand as a former employee about Accutek Packaging use of sub standard components and several components that were purchased at swap meets and flea markets or they were stripped form older machines that were no longer in working order. Yes that is right used components put into new equipment and sold as new. As a former employee I saw first hand that almost every machine had to be modified to accept these inferior components. The majority of the time they were electrical components. Each and every owners manual that was shipped with the equipment had to be modified to try and recognize the inferior components and given a random replacement part number. This also created issues with basic operating peremiters for the equipment being totally incorrect making it impossible for the customer to operate the equipment they had purchased. This made it almost impossible to order replacements parts not to mention the kaos it caused the service teams and affected their ability to trouble shoot these components let alone help the customer to repair them over the phone which usually lead to a very costly visit more often than not at the expense of the customer. For the service call and all expenses to include replacement parts that could not be matched to the existing components. Their build contract perimeters were put together so tight that customers usually had to buy a piece of equipment that did not meet their needs or pay hefty storage fees for not taking delivery and were often sued and forced to take the equipment. This was an on going joke amongst the sales staff. This would allow them to add very costly upgrades to the equipment putting additional money in the salesmans pockets as well as the sales manager. To which I might add never had the customers best interest at heart. Only how he was going to stick it to the customer. Buyer beware... I strongly suggest you look elsewhere when shopping for any type of packaging equipment.

Our company owns one of the Accutek fillers. We had to sign some lengthy legal agreement before they would ship it. We had immediate parts failures, not major so far. But they refused to give us warranty parts even though we were willing to install them ourselves.

The accounting department constantly hit us with invoices for warranty parts.

Something very strange is going on over these. Caution is in order.
