A1 Marketing A1 Timeshare resales and rentals Stole my identity! Internet
16th of Jun, 2011 by User677216
A1 marketing/timehare resellers, or whoever they are today, took money from my bank account to list our time share for sale, after they told us they had a buyer and we would be getting our money back, plus the sale money within 6 weeks. Right. Someone who works for them used my bank account information to create a fraudulent debit card and used it to go out to dinner and the movies! S/He also used it to open a credit card with paypal. Paypal thought it was suspicious that the person did not know the zip code for our house and called me to verify the credit request. THANK GOODNESS for Paypal! During the 30 minutes or so that the credit account was active, while I was on the phone with paypal, the creep charged almost $25,000 on the new credit card. Paypal immediately cancelled the card and reversed all the charges. What a hassle though. I had to file a police report, a Federal Trade Commission stolen identity report and a wire fraud report.
DO NOT fall for whatever the timeshare sellers are selling as they all seem to want only one thing, your money!
