Be advised that A Matter Of Fax in Harrison, NJ operates their business much like a Ponzi Scheme. This company uses revenue to pay employees and operate, while leaving vendors and suppliers in a state of non-payment.
A Matter of Fax feels that it is their right to pay invoices at thier discretion, if they choose to pay them at all. You should know that if you do business with this company, you are purchasing product/services that have not been paid for and may be enabling this behavior. |

A MATTER OF FAX, in Harrison, NJ also disregards FTC laws by keeping the customer's money longer than 30 days without any notification of any kind to the customer as to where the customer's mechandise is and when the owner, Mr. Jonathon Shelton, was informed of this he called it "normal". This place is a fraudulent business and is to be avoided at all costs! There are MANY complaints about this business and do yourself a big favor--STAY AWAY! When I informed the Attorney General's office in New Jersey about them, the investigator infomed me he had been given other complaints about this business too. Very RUDE and disrespectful customer service at this business and they are outright untruthful to customers and, in my case, simply made up a different tale each time I tried, after more than a month, of waiting for my $400+ item to be shipped to me. It was the absolute WORST experience in dealing with a merchant I have ever had in my life! I cannot, nor will not, be able to stress enough: STAY AWAY !!! Even if you pay more for an item elsewhere it is well worth it. There is no substitute for professionalism and this fraudulent outfit does not know what the word "professional" means. I wish I had seen a review like the ones posted online for this joint before dealing with them. |

They do not sell branded products. You will only receive a very cheap knock-off version, even though they list the name brand item in their catalog. Ordered a Samsung brand cartridge printer pack. They charged my credit card for an amount $20 higher than price listed. Have contacted them and called them 6 times and no response. When I finally received the item, it was a generic version, not the Samsung branded item they listed for sale. Over two weeks they would not respond to my calls or emails. Had to dispute the transaction and Visa reversed the charge. |
