Well.. This is embarassing .. I am 25yrs old.. Married, and currently going back to College for my Policing Degree with a major of Crime Scene Investigations.. So why is it, that I am filling out one of these? Well.. My husband is deployed to Afghanistan for the second time, and we've all seen those "Get a degree in 6mos" commercials.. And I thought.. Well Gee willikers.. If I can get my advanced criminology in 6mos, there goes the extra 12mons of school and I can start making the money quicker.. So here I am.. Googling online schooling systems.. And this one comes up. 15days for an upgraded diploma and 30days for Advanced Science/Criminology.. Ok, I know what you're thinking.. Too good to be true.. But maybe, just maybe...This could be the real deal.. Yeah, it's not. I luckily did NOT send them any money.. Now they won't stop calling me.. And it's like they don't even know what I applied for to begin with.. I get a rude man saying "Ma'am, don't you want to be a high school graduate?!" ........Um.. Kinda am, buds. When I corrected him, he hung up.. Than this forgien (Sorry but I can't think of a nicer term at this point) jerk calls me back telling me that I have less than 12hrs before this "sale" is over.. Ok? ... I doubt the "sale" is the reason I called, but thanks.. I told him I was very busy today (Which I am.. My love came home last week for leave, and goes back today! So I don't feel like being on the phone) .. So I say another time I'll call..Than say "Wait, if this is going to be for my Canadian Diploma Upgrade, why are you calling from PA?" and he hung up.............. Than a woman calls me (Appealing to my female side maybe!?) and she says I have to give her my credit card info now to hold my spot. I sure as fuck am NOT giving these people anything now! Anyone PLEASE do your research before hand. I called the Albertan Online Accredation Services, and they don't even know this company. I called the American Institution 1-800# and they told me that this number is linked to SEVERAL accounts and they aren't associated with any Educational Institution!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY! And if you are trying to better your education, please make sure you know WHERE they are located, WHEN you will recieve your books and papers and ALWAYS make sure you READ EVERYTHING! and speak to a certifide person!
