Damaged furniture and walls during a residential move

I, unfortunately, had the displeasure of utilizing Scott "Scott the Mover" Tassone’s moving services which resulted in numerous damaged items and walls. Back in January 2012, I hired Scott Michael Tassone's moving company, which was called 3 Big Dogs Moving Company, and were to move my furniture from Laguna Niguel to Aliso Viejo (local move in Orange County, California). Scott Tassone claimed his operations were licensed and insured, and most of all, that they did not hire anybody with a criminal record.

After my furniture was moved and damaged, I contacted the California Public Utilities Commission and discovered that Scott Michael Tassone's moving operations were unlicensed and uninsured (e.g. unlawful in the State of California). I also learned Scott was convicted of burglary as well which was concerning. Scott’s moving company currently operates as Big Dog Move Crew.

Ultimately, I sued Scott Michael Tassone in Small Claims court and won, but as of this writing, he has failed to pay the full amount.

I do not recommend conducting any business with companies associated with Scott Michael Tassone as numerous people have been harmed over the years. He has operated under various company names including: 3 Big Dogs Moving Company and Big Dog Move Crew.
