I'll keep this as short and simple as possible, so you don't have to read a ton of filler. I went into 1800mattress's store in Hazlet N.J. and ordered a queen size Simmon's Beautyrest Pillowtop. The mattress in the store felt amazing, but the one delivered did not! It was rock solid and the "stronger" coils on the edges made it feel like you were falling into a ditch in the middle. I used my "comfort exchange" which they didn't tell me costs around $100.00 PLUS another delivery fee of $60.00 or so. This is when I went into the Freehold store and talked to a really nice salesman named Don who seemed like he actually wanted to help (The reason I went to the Freehold store is because the person in the Hazlet store had no care for my comfort exchange and was useless). Don showed me other mattress's and I specifically asked him if the ones in the store are the ones online. He replied "yes they are". I did some research on memory foam and decided to go with the Classic Sleep 11" plush mattress. I ended up paying a bit more which I didn't mind because I was assured it would feel just like a Tempurpedic but for a fraction of the cost. A couple weeks after it arrived my girlfriend and I started feeling a lot of back pain and it seemed like our mattress was getting progressively harder. I decided to take off the cover to investigate and what do ya know.. It's not the mattress advertised online. Also, there is clearly something wrong with the setup or mattress because there is a .75" dip going from edge to edge. The mattress online is said to have 1" quilting foam, 3" 5lb memory foam, 2" 2lb comfort foam, and 5" 2lb base foam. My mattress has 3" memory foam, and 8" of base foam along with a cover that when placed on the memory foam doesn't allow the heat to transfer so it's rock solid. I've since contacted 1800mattress and they had an "inspector" come out. He put string across and a ruler measuring the dip, took some pictures, and was on his way. Surprise, I heard from them today and guess what.. "Your mattress is within the manufactures guidelines". I'm sorry, I didn't know that my couple month old mattress was supposed to develop a dip! "Sir, you only have 48 hours to contact us if your product is wrong". Oops! My mistake for not unzipping this gigantic cover and examining my product! I guess I should have X-ray vision so I can see through it! They offered to send someone out to adjust my bed frame (It's not the frame considering I removed it and have the mattress sitting on the box placed on the floor). I only agreed so that it would cost their company more money. In the end, I had a terrible experience. I'm going to have to fork over more money to get a comfortable bed. Believe me, STAY AWAY FROM 1800MATRESS AND SLEEPY'S!!! |
