I received a call from a man with an Indian accent. He knew my name. The caller ID showed "incoming call" only and after the call there is no record on my phone of the number or even that the call happened. Hitting redial did not work either. It redialed the last call before his called. These guys are professional hackers that want access to your computer to steal all your personal data and accounts (identity theft ring). I asked who was calling. He said 1 stop e arcade. Then went into his sales pitch about my computer and it being infected by programs from the internet....What??? and arcade company wants to clean my computer? (Huge red flag) I asked again what his company was. Same name. I asked how he got my number. He said they have advanced technical ways. YIKES. I hope none of my friends gave him access to their computers. He probably got it from an old order list from when I ordered a computer or software online in the past. He kept returning to his script every time I interrupted him to ask a question, starting over from the beginning. I know my computers are not infected. Both my sons are computer science majors. So I asked him one more time what company he worked for and why was he calling me? I told him I didn't understand why he was calling me when I no longer own a computer? LOL He hung up on me. 1 stop e arcade is a real company but he does not work for them.
