| HACLA Rudy Montiel, Investigative Reporter David Goldstein Of Channel 2 News Uncovers Misuse Of Funds Plus Fraudulent Travel Expenses. Internet |

Well, well, well. Did anyone happen to see the investigative news report by Channel 2's David Goldstein last night at 11:00 pm? (March 16th 2011) Apparently "Mr. Hair Plugs" himself really outdid himself this time with an outstanding piece of excellent investigative reporting of what should have been uncovered by the DA's office years ago. It took fine journalism to finally tell the truth about what really goes on with administrators and appointed board members of the city's biggest legal government scam. For those who work at HACLA, it is common knowledge amongst any employee that the administrators at the top are always "on the take," so to speak. After all, that's old news. And this isn't just your regular fifth floor gossip. This is agency-wide in having a fair amount of knowledge regarding misuse of public funds and unexplained lengthy business trips. But when Channel 2 news sent David Goldstein complete with camera crew to investigate the inappropriate spending of unnecessary high travel expenses by appointed Board Commissioners, that's when "Kinky" Ken Simmons' skirt was presumably really ruffled. And so it should be. The truth about what goes on and the cover-ups is now finally coming to light. It took a television investigative news crew to uncover the real dirt. It appears Board Commissioner Margarita C. Garr was already caught dirty once by the Channel 2 investigative news team with taking trips to out of state meetings, while at the same time staying in luxurious lavish hotels, The Ritz Carlton, to name one. But when approached by David Goldstein on a public street, complete with microphone and cameraman in tow, Ms. Garr was not only walking at such a fast pace to avoid his interrogative questioning, but she gave a wave of her hand as if to signal she had absolutely no comment when asked if she had any intentions of paying back the inappropriate and outrageous spending on her part. Ms. Garr couldn't fully explain or justify why her appointed board position allows her, or requires her to take either out-of-town or out-of-state trips to Laguna Beach, or South Beach, Florida, thereby billing her expensive travel and five-star hotel stays to the tax payer. Where is the outrage in all of this, you may ask? Answer: Simple. There isn't any. This is because Ms. Garr's constant travel to these "mandatory Board meetings, whether they be out of town, or out of state are, in Rudy Montiel's eye's clearly justified. This makes Montiel as guilty as the rest of them. But Margarita C. Garr isn't the only guilty one for unnecessary travel time and expenses. Maria Del Angel was also cornered by Mr. Goldstein, but the difference with her was: 1) she was way too fat to try and run away from David Goldstein and the rest of the Channel 2 team and, 2) she was stupid enough to voluntarily incriminate herself on camera when asked about her unusual and unexplainable spending expenses. But I don't blame Garr or Del Angel for their criminal wrongdoing, I blame Rudy Montiel for exonerating and condoning any actions by the Board members, and I also blame the mayor of the city for appointing these people in the first place. Rudy Montiel's leadership skills in showing any corporate administrator how to effectively lead by example is clearly demonstrated by his no-nonsense approach to picketers and demonstrators who periodically voice their opinion and exercise their right to free speech when demonstrating outside his cozy upscale home in Rancho Cucamonger. I have it on good authority, (I won't mention names) that Mr. Montiel was so afraid to face the demonstrators outside his house, that he wouldn't leave and come to work. Instead he stayed home, while at the same time, posting a private security officer right outside his front door for twenty-four hours, seven days a week, for two weeks straight. The Security Officer's duties at the time was to also hand out candy to the children at Halloween. Housing Services director Sanford Riggs, although not in the same category as "Kinky" Ken Simmons' unusual fetish for wearing his wife's underwear, is nevertheless, by no means any angel either. Apparently, as the story goes, approximately two years ago, Mr. Riggs was sent to a meet-and-greet community member meeting in the finest upscale housing project of Nickerson Gardens. He was apparently approached by what appeared to be a street prostitute who he claims just suddenly jumped into his Prius vehicle, when he was exiting the premises. What we found out later (again, I won't mention names) was only half the story. With some extra time to kill in the ghetto, Mr. Riggs saw the opportunity for a quick and convenient blow job by a black transvestite prostitute who was eying his crotch on Compton Avenue. That's when the fun almost started. But seeing that he was already "burned" by Housing Authority subordinates in broad daylight, he had to "play it off" and pretend "it" had jumped into his vehicle and refused to get out. If nobody was watching, you can rest assured Sanford Riggs' sexual appetite for a cross-dressing partner would have been conveniently quenched. It is also common knowledge that Mr. Riggs was seen once in the company of Board member Lucelia Hooper at the famous Green door in Las Vegas, but this has yet to be verified. These are the administrators who run HACLA. These are the overpaid executive committee members who suspend and fire other employees for lesser violations. I think it's time somebody notified LA City Controller Wendy Greuel and have her further investigate this mess. The City Controller's Office needs to do a complete overhaul of all this lavish spending and help put a stop to funds which are disproportionately used by overpaid and oversexed HACLA Administrators.

Too bad you had to make this sound like a gossip column. These are mega government criminals, and there's so much more to this story that needs to be investigated and dealt with.
This is serious stuff. The 'fat' remark, and reference to 'prostitution'... in the ghetto here, is just plain ignorant. You have some good information, be more productive with it, there's work to be done here. |

Just checking up on old dirt...the latest discoveries on the levels of contamination and/or the lack of the HACLA to properly investigate the soils at Jordan Downs is the fallout that D. Stefano was talking about. The same executive staff pictured on the HACLA website who defrauded the tax payers are the same ones that are now in charge of this redevelopment fiasco. Mr. Guthrie had the wool pulled over his eyes by the likes of Goins, King II, Brown, Simmons, Riggs, and Chung. Brown is the guy who ate twice in one day at Ruth's & Chris' Steakhouse on tax-payer dime. There was so much money skimming that they had to make lay-offs and cut-backs on everything just to balance out. Do you think they wanted to thouroughlly spend the tax money properly to investigate soils, or go on lavish trips?
If Eric wants to be an impact mayor, then he needs to get rid of these clowns. Jordan Downs residents have been sold a lie at their expense. |
