United Auto Insurance Co - Scottsdale, AZ UAIC, UAIG Unpaid Property Damange Claim Scottsdale, Arizona

UAIG is the insurer of the person how hit & ran my van. Luckily a passerby followed the liable party so the police were able to get insurance info. Police, UAIG, my insurer, and the liable party have all confirmed her 100% liable for the accident. We filed a claim for the damaged and for injury. We have never heard from them regard injury so can't even discuss that at this point. But if it turns out anything like what we have been going through with property - it's gonna be a long process. UAIG has undervalued my vehicle in their assessment and has refused to pay for a rental replacement. When we offered a counter amount to their insulting settlement offer, they terminated all communications with us (they have not returned our calls or emails in 5 days now). We are going now of 20 days of no auto and no rental. We are a one car family. We luckily have a church who has lent us a vehicle for the short term, but that is about up. Someone has made an offer to buy our auto for salvage and we can't move forward in that process because of their hold up. I have tried everything...Writing, calling, pushing through to the operator, asking for supervisors, you name it - but not a peep. We did receive a letter over the weekend saying "maybe you should file a claim on your own insurance because you have exceeded our insured's coverage." Well, ok but at least pay out what the coverage limit is......? This insurer is just a scammer. If you have them - get someone else! If you have to deal with them - I am sorry - just go ahead and get an attorney!
