I have worked for Endeavor From June-August of 2010. In that time I have had worthless work orders, Help Desk technicians that don't know what they are doing, Wild goose chases for work orders that didn't need to be done. I even drove from NC to Virginia to a pizza establishment to perform work that didn't need to be performed. Anyway, I was to install a wireless access point in the establishment so that they could get their orders from the internet. I performed the work and the manager signed off on the paper work but they didn't pay me for the work that I did because I was called back and told to take everything down, take it home with me and ship it back to the customers office. I wondered why I was installing this equipment because they had XDSL installed and it was running. In fact the customers tech representative called and told me that they don't know why I was dispatched out there. Here it was that the only problem was that the Mozilla window was not opening to a full screen. I fixed that problem as well. I drove two hours just to get paid $66.00 Then I was down in Greensboro, NC at a card shop installing new routers, switches, and XDSL along with cutting over the line, extending the demarcation, and reconfiguring the POS software. The job was supposed to pay 50.00 per hour for every hour after the initial first two hours. I was there for 5.5 hours. I never got paid for those extra hours. There were other assignments that I had done and was not properly paid for them. Their representatives always want you to go out of state for the work and they say that they will pay for your hotel and travel but you will never get that money either. They will always come up with an excuse as to why they will not pay you. They never tell you how many miles you actually have to drive. Now they are calling me constantly because I have two Vonage modems in my possession that I refuse to give back because they owe me money. I don't hear anyone talking about paying me what is actually owed to me. All in all, I would not tell anyone to work for them. If a Lawsuit is commenced on this company "I WANT IN ON IT!"

I worked about 5 hours, paid for parking, got the job done, and work approved and signed.

Endeavor Telecom refuses to pay. Their help desk is inadequate...it can take nearly an hour for them to answer the phone. Furthermore, they are rude, nasty, and disrespectful towards the technicians.

May justice prevail. May these vultures pay in hell.

Class Action Lawsuit? I'm in!

I too am going through the same issues you have described. There is no one to contact over there except an email address and after they have stated they will not pay you then communication ceases and you will not receive your money. You can request travel pay, but if they refuse to pay you for any reason that will be withheld also.

They are nasty and rude to the technicians. They talk to you like you have no idea what you are doing and can take up to an hour to close out a ticket after you have been on hold for 45 minutes all at your cost.

I have worked for them for about 5 years and they keep stating they are changing and trying to get better and it has never changed you still are on hold forever they still talk to you disrespectfully and they still withhold pay with little to no reason at all.

I'm surprised this site hasn't been closed down either. Usually you will get a letter from their lawyers telling you to cease and desist from posting negative comments and all complaints will be removed only to be found in a search cache.

If a lawsuit is in the works please let me know I have meticulous records and can support any claim I have in a court of law.

The FE SR audit process for this comany contains directives (be it written or verbal, who knows) to the auditors to cut tech pay where they think they can get away with it and once they do get away with it they will contiune to screw techs out of pay. They are told to do it... I got this directly from someone on the inside at Endeavor. Definitely post it here if a class action suit is found to be in the works. They like to quote the contract as for the payment process but apparently they dont read the contracts too well once you send them back because someone pre-emptively modified the contract before signing it and sending it back to INCREASE Endeavors liability and decrease the FE's liability. So when shit comes to blows I know of at least ONE contract that is going to put the screws to them. Here is my advice to all that are still doing work for these vulchers
1) Stay on the phone to login regardless of the length (I know this is hard sometimes but it is a must at this point)

2) when time rolls around to get approval for OT (Once your initial SR quailfied time is about to expire) call in to the TAC and, yes, again, hold until you get one of the lackies and explain you need approval for OT to continue with the job. document the time. (This is very important, as they record all the calls and you can quote this time is your dispute for them to pull the call to get verification)

3) If you have the capabilities to record your conversation as well, DO SO.

4) Stay on site to log off and make sure you get the time breakdown that the TAC rep is putting in to ESP

5) Stay on top of the CPI you submit when they try to screw you out of your money.

Hope this helps...

Good luck all...

I had a similar experience, I worked on a roll out in BC, Canada.
Robyn Matula from Endeavor recruited me for installs. She asked me to buy a special insurance policy to work with their company. After explaining to her that it cost $1000 and was not possible, she agreed to give me a few install granted that I get the insurance after completing a few. I agreed.

My team started one site roll out at 9pm at night around May 10th, because that was our start time. We were asked, ONSITE, to install wood blocking for some monitors. We told their tech that we have installed thousands of TV weighing more than these monitors, and that we would ensure its stability. Also we were asked to remove a wood cabinet for the rack to go in it's place. We are not carpenters, but we agreed to reschedule and come back with the necessary tools and materials.
We then rescheduled for the following week.

Then the very next night we went to another job site for them. We had all the wood materials and carpenters tools onsite, not knowing what to expect. We ran all of our lines, surface mounted as per Endeavors work order. Also I spoke to their project manager that day about it, and she asked me to bring wire-mold for the wires to be hidden.
Then comes their tech.
He demands we remove our lines, and fish them through the ceiling. We explain that it is written on our work order to surface mount them, and to hide them with the wire-mold.
He calls his boss. Then once again, agressively, tells us to move to wires. I call my Project Manager, Chris Mayo, and she tells me that it does not matter what is on my work order, or what conversation we had that day. That I either had to move the wires, or not complete the job.
We decided to eat that night, 8 hours onsite with 2 guys, and risk not being paid.

Then Chris Mayo promises a call back to me the next day to figure this all out, and she never called. In fact she did not return any calls or emails after this, about 12 in total. Jeff in their dispatch office did respond, and told us that we breached our contract and to expect not to be paid for that night.
At this point I decided to eat that second night, 8 hours at $60/hr, and move on to complete the first job from the first night I had started with them.
I went back to the jobsite, on the scheduled day, to complete the first job, and it was already done.
At this point I almost pulled my wires out, but would have left a business, who had done NO WRONG, with no POS system.
I then continued to contact Chris Mayo, Jeff, and Robyn Matula. Robyn was the one who had recruited me, After MONTHS of calls and emails, Robyn called me out of the blue. Said she felt bad, and was going to work on getting me paid partially for the first job. BUT I had to go another job for them first.
I told her that I would be glad to do that job, AFTER I was paid. I said "I am a good guy, I will continue to work for you, even though I felt screwed, and would take work orders from them."
Months went by, several Endeavor dispatch people called me, Sasha, and more. Offering me work. I told every single one of them that I was owed $540 from an invoice over 2, or 3, NOW 4 month over due. But I would be glad to do work orders once it had been paid.

I am now preparing my lawyer, who happens to be my FREE best friend, to write them a letter.

The bottom line is this.DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. OR BETTER YET, TAKE CALLS, AND DO NOT SHOW UP TILL YOU ARE PREPAID 50%.

I have worked for Endeavor Telecom and agree with this report

I have worked for Endeavor Telecom and agree with these reports. Endeavor Telecom consistently cheats on the paychecks. Their so called "CPI" complaints avenue is a joke. I would go so far as to say they are committing fraud. Don't start working for them because they won't pay you for one month. This is so they can cheat you and you won't feel like complaining because you won't get anything of what they owe you.

I was also a contractor for Endeavor Telecom the only way to fix this problem is to work together to create products and services to undercut Megapath, Cybera, and other unethical companies who buy slave labor from Endeavor.
