Horrible Customer Service and Shipping

DO NOT do business with Birthday Mania.com. The worst experience ever. I ordered my sons party supplies on 2/8/12. Their website showed all Scooby Doo merchandise in stock for shipping. Website claims they ship out orders within 48 hours and to expect 5-7 business days for orders to arrive via standard shipping. By 2/16/12 my order had not arrived. I called the company and left a message. The next day ,2/17/12, they sent an email dated 2/9/12 stating that my order had been shipped. On 2/19/12 I still had not received my order so I sent the company an email inquiring once again about my order. I received a one sentence email on 2/10/12 giving me a tracking number and expected date of delivery. No apology or explanation as to why the order had not been received yet. I tracked my order only to find out that the order was not shipped out of TN. until 2/17/12. Birthday Mania flat out lied when they indicated that the shipment had shipped out on 2/9/12. I finally received my order today 2/21/12 only to open it and find two items (plates and cups) missing. The packing slip indicated that these items were on backorder. At no time did Birthday Mania inform me of these items being on backorder. Furthermore when I placed my order on their website it falsely claimed that all items were in stock for shipping. Who knows when I will finally receive the rest of my order. The customer service is awful. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT order anything from this company!!!
